Dr. Kamron Mirkarimi
Dr. Mirkarimi received Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego. He completed his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science / Chicago Medical School in 2007. He completed both his internship in 2008 and residency in 2010 at Scripps Mercy Hospital and has continued on as a teaching attending for the Internal Medicine residency program.
Dr. Mirkarimi is board certified in internal medicine and serves an an associate professor for the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He currently works as a full time Hospitalist with the Ximed Hospitalist group at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla. He is the co-founder and president of the San Diego SNF Hospitalist group, helping provide high acuity hospital level care to several skilled nursing facilities in San Diego. His interests and hobbies include traveling, spending time with family, golfing, physical fitness and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Dr. Morteza Mirkarimi
Dr. Morteza Mirkarimi is a family medicine doctor in San Diego, California.
He received his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Dr. James Boyd
Immediately after completing High School, Dr. James Boyd, MD, enlisted in the airborne infantry where he served with numerous units for over 5 years.
After serving his country, Dr. Boyd went on to study Biochemistry at the University California, Davis. Upon completion of his degree from UC Davis, he went on to earn his medical degree from Saint Louis University.
Following his studies, Dr. Boyd went on to complete his residency in family medicine at the University of California, Irvine. He then transitioned his knowledge to Hospital Medicine at Scripps Memorial La Jolla, where he has been for over 22 years.
As a prior infantry soldier and triathlete, Dr. Boyd understands the demands of pushing yourself through physically challenging situations. He believes physical activity is the foundation of youth and that there are many ways to enhance your performance and recovery.
