What Happens at Your Appointment
- 01A registered provider begins with a short intake to review your symptoms, medical history, current medications, and any allergies. This step matters because the Mega IV contains several active ingredients, including anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory medication, and the provider needs to confirm nothing in the mix conflicts with what you are already taking.
- 02Once you are cleared, a nurse places an IV line, usually in the arm, and the infusion runs over roughly 45 minutes to an hour depending on your vein access and how your body tolerates the rate. You will be seated comfortably for the duration and a staff member checks in periodically to make sure you are tolerating the drip well.
